Honorable Thomas H. Kean, former Governor of the State of New Jersey joined friends of Fountain House at an event in New Jersey on February 11th.
Former Governor Kean is a strong advocate for creating inclusive communities that support people with disabilities in their journeys toward self-sufficiency. He mentioned in his remarks that “Fountain House is a program I’ve known for forty years. They have always been the best at what they do.”
The night featured wine, hors d’oeuvres, and an inspiring speaking program with remarks from former Governor Kean Fountain House member, President Kenn Dudek, and Board Member Betty Eastland. Click here for photos of the event.
We have had a presence in New Jersey since the 1970s through the Fountain House Farm at High Point in Montague. This event crystalized our desires to expand local programming and do even more for the New Jersey communities.
A local non-profit station, Hometowne TV interviewed Governor Kean, Kenn Dudek, and Betty Eastland prior to the event. Watch the clip.
