More than a Gallery: A Movement

Fountain Gallery is the premier venue in New York City representing artists with mental illness. Beginning with a handful of artists in the summer of 2000, the Gallery has grown to include nearly 40 artists and collaborates with a wide network of artists, curators and cultural institutions.

By exhibiting visionary art, achieving commercial success, and generating public dialogue, the Gallery is making a vital contribution to the New York arts community while combating common misconceptions about people living with severe persistent mental illness.

HIGH POINT FARM

Located on 477 acres in northwestern New Jersey, High Point is a working tree and alpaca farm. A rural extension of Fountain House’s work-ordered programs, extended trips to High Point provide opportunities for members and staff to work together to manage the farm’s daily operations.
