The Peter B. Lewis and Adam Lewis Wellness Center provided the perfect backdrop to the festive occasion, affording a spectacular view of the luminous Midtown Manhattan skyline. A hundred or so attendees nibbled on delicious hors d’oeuvres as they mingled and shopped at a special outpost of the Fountain Gallery Holiday Shop.

The program featured voices from many segments of the Fountain House community. Kenn Dudek began the program with a warm welcome to new and old friends. He presented this year’s three Walther Executive Fellows and introduced Sr. Agnes, who spoke about her aspirations to establish a clubhouse in India after she finishes the program. Carla Charlton, a Fountain House member, shared her personal story of mental health recovery and the role Fountain House has played in her life. Kathy Fiess, Director of Individual Giving, spoke about the year-end campaign to support UNITY, a new initiative to reach out to young adults struggling with mental health challenges. Board Member Arlene Salomon wrapped up the program with a touching account of how much being part of Fountain House means to her.
